Fictionalism has turned ugly in Chiredzi West after ward 25 D chairman, Elias Chinanga, had his house petrol bombed on Thursday.

Chinanga has since filed a police report but is yet to get his RRb number.
Sources familiar with the incident told this publication that Chinanga is suspecting his ward councillor and his cabal.
“There is serious fictionalism in our ward. Chinanga’ s House was petrol bombed after our ward councillor Richard Mazambani threatened to burn Chinanga in his sleep at a rally at Mahanyele primary on April 9,” the source said.

Contacted for comment Chinanga confirmed the case saying he gave a list of his suspects to the police but they are yet to give him his rrb number.
“I have since reported my case at Triangle police station and the case is being investigated but l am wondering why they did not give me my rrb number and l gave them all the suspects who threatened to commit this offense at a rally last week,” Chinanga said.
Further investigations proved that Chinanga’s children were not home on the day as they had gone for a holiday at their grandmother’s house.
Names of suspects are Muzambani, Arkmore Themezani, One Muzizi, Yvonne Mapfaka, Chitate and Chibike.
Police could neither confirm nor deny the case by the time of going to press.
