Two man from Mphoengs are in trouble after they stoned a police office who was in his Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) uniform.
Millard Khumalo (39) and Mandlenkosi Ncube (23) were dragged to Plumtree magistrates Court following the charge laid against them.
They appeared before magistrate Joshua Nembaware who remanded them in custody to February 3.
The state alleged that on January 28 at Keme Business Centre, Mphoengs, the cop Tapiwa Munyaradzi Maunze was on his way to save rape summons in the area when he met the two who were insulting another man.
The man who was being insulted called the cop to caution the duo.
Upon his arrival, the duo stoned him and threatened to stab him.
