A 24-YEAR-OLD Zimbabwean man who stole a security fence in Botswana was jailed yesterday by a Plumtree magistrate.
Ndabezunhle Ndlovu was sentenced to an effective 18 months in jail by magistrate Mr Joshua Nembaware.
Prosecutor Selestine Madziwa told the court that on April 3 around 8pm the convict illegally crossed to the neighbouring Botswana where he stole a security fence.
The police managed to trace him and arrested him in Zimbabwe.
The fence is valued at BWP 4400 only BWP 880 was recovered.
