Young Generation for Economic Development an affiliate that is strongly behind President Emmerson Mnangagwa has started to make strategic moves ahead of the be be full implementation of the Vision 2030  Presidential Campaign.

According to the affliate’s national chairperson Tendai Ziko, YGED is there to empower and educate the youth of Zimbabwe, promoting their active participation in shaping the country’s economic and socio-development under the President’s leadership.

“The organization aims to foster a sense of patriotism and preserve national heritage.The objectives include equipping young individuals with problem-solving skills to support the ZANU PF’s goals, formulating policies for innovation and equality, implementing evaluation methods to create learning opportunities, and promoting civic engagement through education and community involvement,” Ziko said.

He added that, their target audience consists of individuals aged between 13 to 45 years, with an emphasis on informed participation and responsible decision-making, ensuring that minors have the necessary guidance from parents or guardians.

However, YGED is active in Masvingo and Harare, respectively, with the aim of spreading to all the country’s provinces.
