Plumtree based Selinah Mpofu was arrested for trying to steal eighteen bags of fertiliser meant for Presidential inputs scheme.
The 31-year-old Mpofu was dragged to Plumtree magistrates courts yesterday where she appeared before magistrate Joshua Nembaware.
Nembaware granted the suspect $50 bail.
According to court records on December 17 last year the Ministry of Agriculture throught it’s extention officers distributed fertilisers at New line village Brunaperg.
Mpofu connived with Pardon Chikowe who is still at large to steal the bags of fertilisers.
Chikowe came driving a Nissan truck in a bid to loot the inputs.
An alert villager informed the police who came on the scene and Chikowe drove off.
