Harare-26 August 2025- It is with disappointment that we report that Sabhuku Temba Mliswa was not presented before the Court today, contrary to our expectations following his act of handing himself to the Magunje Police on Monday.
The proceedings for his Court appearance have encountered delays, as the pertinent authorities connected to the case did not arrive in Magunje until 5 in the evening.
It is noteworthy that additional charges have been appended to the initial allegation of prospecting without a license. This alarming compilation of more charges indicates a frenetic attempt to find grounds for prosecution.
At its essence, this case is about panicking public officials who have been exposed for their corrupt practices.
As we speak, he is yet to be transferred to Chinhoyi with ZRP ICT only arriving at Magunje ZRP at 5 in the evening.
We strongly suspect that after exposing many corrupt people, his life may be in danger, and the
ploy to travel at night is to facilitate for nefarious plots by those responsible. Previously, he has
warned that if anything untoward happens to him, those responsible will be CG Mutamba and
Commissioner Nyazema.
We remain steadfastly optimistic that the principles of the rule of law will ultimately prevail,
leading to the acquittal of the anti-corruption leader when he is finally granted his day in Court.
