Mlowe primary school teacher Thembo Khethiwe got herself in the dock after she assaulted a colleague over a pit.
The fourty-nine year old teacher appeared before Plumtree magistrate Joshua Nembaware.
She pleaded guilty, and the matter was remanded to tomorrow for sentencing
The court heard that on November 11, Khetiwe had a misunderstanding with her colleague Siluma Gcinani (31) over a pit.
Khethiwe then slapped Gcinani once on the face.
She filed a police report leading to the arrest of Khethiwe.
