A primary school teacher in Plumtree is now living in fear after he was threatened by a rape victim’s brother for testifying against the convict.
The matter came to light at Plumtree magistrates courts yesterday where Buhe Ncube (26) was sent to prison by magistrate Joshua Nembaware.
Nembaware remanded Ncube in custody to Monday for sentencing.
Prosecutor Selestine Madziwa alleged on March 21 Ncube stormed the school yard and met the complainant Sabelo Zhou(44) whom he accused of testifying against his brother on a rape case.
Ncube threatened Zhou with unspecified intentions.
Fearing for her life the teacher called a colleague to try and easy Ncube who was breathing fire.
Zhou subsequently filed a police report leading to the arrest of Ncube.
