Too much love of beer has landed a Plumtree based commercial sex worker in trouble after she stole beer before hiding in a toilet to drink the stolen beer.
The matter came to light at Plumtree magistrates courts on Friday where Sandra Moyo (35) appeared before magistrate Joshua Nembaware.
Nembaware slapped Moyo with a $350 fine, noting that failure to pay will result in her serving a two months jail term.
An additional one year was suspended on condition she restitutes the sum of $10 via clerk of court by May 31.
Prosecutor Selestine Madziwa told the court that on April 4 the complainant who is a bar lady at a local bar in Plumtree closed and locked the door of the bar while Moyo was hiding in the toilet.
Moyo stole some beer worth $10 and drank the whole night.
She was caught by the complainant in the following morning holding a half pint beer bottle while inside the bar.
The complainant filed a police report leading to the arrest of Moyo.
