Murderer back on the crime scene - Forensic science


The devastating road accident that occurred this Tuesday at the Hunyani Bridge along Seke Road, involving a haulage truck and a commuter kombi claiming 17 lives has urged the United African National Council (UANC) to call for declaration of safety standards to curve future carnage.

In response to the heart-wrenching incident, the United African National Council (UANC) released a statement today, expressing profound sorrow and extending condolences to bereaved families.

” As UANC we would like to express our deepest condolences to the families who lost their loved ones. We urge the government to declare the crash a national disaster and help the victims’ families with financial and logistical assistance,”Mapuranga said.

Mapurangs also called for the installation of speed humps near the Hunyani Bridge to compel oncoming traffic to slow down in high-risk zones among other key areas that have realised fatalities or pose likelihood.

Zimbabwe has seen a considerable number of of accidents despite government efforts to create more safe road networks through projects like the Harare-Beitbrigde, Bulawayo-Víc Falls, Council Road projects among other vast initiatives.
