Political commentator and democracy activist Abigale Mupambi has blasted fired CCC Secretary General Sengezo Tshabangu for threatening MPs with recalls.

Mupambi had no kind words for Tshabangu’s political ‘shenanigans’.

” Honestly, people are now tired of these Tshabangu dramas. When will citizens get some profit out of all this ‘child-play’ approach to our politics? Sengezo is not just my colleague; I respect him beyond that, but on this one, I think he should now drop his pen. Politics has its pressures, and sometimes, you ought to employ political solutions to settle such.”

Furthermore, “This issue of him carrying a pen and threatening legislators and councillors with recalls is now a tired approach. It’s exposing him and those handling him,” Mupambi said.

The outspoken activist had to remind the controversial Senator Tshabangu that he cheated his way into parliament.

“We all know that Tshabangu has no history to the ballot, not even a meaningful trial,” she charged.

Mupambi accused Tshabangu of shunting between ‘parliament and the courts’ with no one supporting his antics.

She further said the firing of the CCC secretary-general by the party should be a time for introspection for  Tshabangu.

“Now that he has been fired by the CCC president, he must now slow down and at least get a small lecture from Professor Ncube.CCC is a political party, not a law firm the courts can only give Tshabangu a reprieve and not political longevity,” added Mupambi.

Her remarks come at a time when Tshabangu is trending for delivering a speech at President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s Precabe farm, rallying behind the Zanu PF leader to continue governing the country.

She has also commended on this subtle endorsement by Tshabangu.

“Tshabangu’s endorsement of ED 2030 agenda has no major influence, he can hardly convince people beyond his yard,” mocked Tshabangu.
