The King of Sungura Alick Macheso is taking Utakataka boss Peter Moyo to Mvurwi on Friday for his annual tour.
Both artistes will perform at Shamwari Joe, a show that is expected to be electrifying.
Shamwari Joe proprietor Barbra Mukombwe is excited to host the Sungura Giants.
“We are very excited to host the Sungura Giants preparations are on-going and we are expecting nothing short of a full house, so fans should come in their numbers and enjoy the Sungura party,” she said.
Sungura fans who spoke to this publication said they are eager to attend the show.
“Band reaanhu , vanhu vacho tisu, we are very happy to have such a show, it a show that comes to us once a year so l will not miss such an opportunity,” Bret “Maring ring” Kangara said.
Brian Mutamba said, “l won’t miss the Sungura party because l want to witness the event and not to be told.”
Meanwhile, Macheso is supporting various artistes both upcoming and forgotten artistes in his shows by moving with them around the country.
