Reverend Obedia Musindo has come out guns blazing, lashing out at former ministers, Tendai Biti and Saviour Kasukuwere, stating that they have touched a raw nerve by attacking Kudakwashe Tagwirei, who he claims is pushing the vision of God-sent President Emmerson Mnangagwa to alleviate poverty.
In a media interview, Rev. Musindo asserted that Dr. Tagwirei is focused on implementing President Mnangagwa’s Economic Empowerment Program, which aims to create 30,000 millionaires and promote national prosperity.
He emphasized that Dr. Tagwirei’s efforts are geared toward supporting President Mnangagwa’s vision to empower Zimbabweans rather than serving political interests.
“Dr. Tagwirei has never declared or said anything about him wanting to become President of Zimbabwe, but he is in great support of this Second Republic and supporting President Mnangagwa’s Vision,” he said.
Rev. Musindo also highlighted Dr. Tagwirei’s contributions to the nation, stating that he has helped the ruling party, Zanu-PF, remain in power and has worked behind the scenes to stabilize the nation.
“Dr. Tagwirei’s efforts have been instrumental in busting sanctions imposed on Zimbabwe, which has drawn criticism from Prof. Biti and others,” Rev. Musindo added.
Referring to Tagwirei as a messenger of President Mnangagwa’s great vision, he said, “Kudakwashe Tagwirei mutumwa anotumika akatumwa naPresident ED Mnangagwa. Bvisai Kudakwashe Tagwirei kunyaya dze politics. He stood with Mugabe and supported the First Republic, and he is standing with President ED Mnangagwa, a man who was constitutionally voted by the majority of Zimbabweans. This is one of the strategic programs designed by Smart Tembo ED Mnangagwa.”
Musindo argued against attempts to undermine Tagwirei’s role, stating, “Mudhara anogona kuronga Kudakwashe Tagwirei mubviseii paNyaya dze succession. Asi Kudakwashe Tagwirei anokodzera kuve mu Central Committee kana kuiiswa muPB given his massive support to the Party and Government. You must listen to the respected General Sanyatwa panezvavakareva.”
He further asserted, “Kudakwashe Tagwirei donated millions of dollars to Zanu PF campaigns and gave countless cars to the Party and to many other institutions, individuals, and many churches, while Kasukuwere did not give the Party one car. Instead, he was using his position in the Party and Government to make his personal money. Let Kasukuwere declare what he has done for the Party.”
Rev. Musindo condemned the actions of Biti and Kasukuwere as “political bullying and thuggish,” stating, “Kurova vanhu, especially in Mashonaland Central. He has deep political bitterness and is so hurt because all his political agendas crumbled and time is moving. Viva ED’s Economic Empowerment Program being driven by Kudakwashe Tagwirei. Be part of the new generation of millionaires!”
