A Chitungwiza car hijacker who stole a parked commuter ominibus in Bindura was subsequently arrested in Chitungwiza.

Jeffrey Jingura (42) was sentenced to 10 years in prison by Bindura magistrate Tinashe Ndokera.

Ndokera suspended four years on condition of good behaviour.

Prosecutor, Carson Kundiona told the court that on March 1 the vehicle owner Semion Chingosho (42) parked his Toyota Hiace registration number ADS 5914 white in colour at Bindura market place.

Chingosho left the engine running and came back five minutes later and discovered that his vehicle was missing.
