Guruve hotel snooker club proved to be too hot for East 49 to handle at a match played at Shinje the home of East 49 in Guruve yesterday.
The inform Guruve hotel walloped East 49, 8 -6 respectively.
Guruve hotel chairman Vale Nyanhete who led his team to victory said his team is in top form and no other team in Guruve pool league will beat them.
“We are about to end our league an with our current form no team will beat us. l am sure you saw the quality of players we have now no team will beat us.” Nyanhete said.
East 49 chairman Kudakwashe Chimanikire said it was a bad day for them but they hope to win their remaining games.
” We lost to Guruve. Yes they were in form and it was a bad day for us but we are ready for the remaining games,” Chimanikire said.
However Redlion beat Eleven Quarts 9-5 , Mitches beat Sir Boer 9-0, Welenation lost to Village legends 6-8, log leaders Homeground were humiliated by Mutsamvi 8-6,Emperor beat GCC 9-5 and Manyama beat E.Ruyamuro 10-4.
