Residents of Mvurwi and surrounding areas have welcomed the opening of a new branch by Gold chunks funeral services.

The branch which was officially opened on Momday brought relief to many residents due to the low costs of funeral cover.

Speaking to this publication, Gold Chunks popularly know as Mukwasha Panyatwa, Chief Executive officer Josiah Balance, said the branch is there to stay and serve people in their tribulation times.

“We are now here in Mvurwi to stay, our offers range from $1,50 per person and we have seen it fit to come to Mvurwi as we are headquartered in Norton but Mvurwi people need our service so we launched today,” Balance said.

A resident of Mvurwi, Poshia Guze, said the funeral company will help a lot of people  and the community in general since it is very affordable.

“We are more than happy as residents of Mvurwi to have Mukwasha Panyatwa the prices are very affordable so we will surely get assistance cheaply,” she said.

Airman Chikonyora was pleased with the launch after the company gave learning materials to both parents and school children who attended.

“This shows that Gold Chunks is not just after taking money from us, l got learning equipments for my children after attending the launch and l also saw a number of people getting gifts we are happy to welcome Mukwasha Panyatwa in our area,” Chikonyora said.

The colourful event was also handled by Wandiona Entertainment, MC Nyanduri and the radio driver Udzanayi Gode.
