A 29 YEAR-OLD Figtree man was convicted for stealing nine goats in his village.
Thumbule Mugande was sentenced to one year in jail.
Nembaware conditionally suspended six months
Prosecutor Sheila Nyathi told the court that from April last year to January 26 at Bullton Farm in Figtree Mugande stole nine goats from Ishmael Nkomazana’s pen.
Nkomazana reported the matter after discovering the theft and the police swiftly arrested Mugande.
