Tragedy struck Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza as Israeli airstrikes killed over 29 Palestinians since dawn today leaving hospitals facing severe shortages due to Israel’s crippling siege, blocking fuel and humanitarian aid supplies amid a relentless attack targeting displaced Palestinians.
These attacks have left thousands of civilians injured facing the risk of death as the war has crippled critical services like health.
Ambassador Tamer Almassri urges the international community and UN to take decisive action against Israel’s escalating war crimes.
“The state of Palestine demands strong and concrete measures to pressure Israel into implementing the UN General Assembly resolution that endorses the International Court of Justice’s advisory opinion calling for an end to the occupation within 12 months.”
Furthermore, “The State of Palestine calls for comprehensive sanctions targeting the entire settler-colonial system, holding all entities responsible for promoting or engaging in settler terrorism and systematic land annexation against the Palestinian people as fascist leaders who perpetuate war crimes in Gaza and Westbank”, Ambassador Almassri explained.
The Palestinian death toll from the Israeli onslaught since October 2023 has risen to 43,374 reported fatalities, while over 10 000 are still under the rubbles.102,261 individuals have sustained serious injuries. The majority of the victims are women and children.
