The lucky lady did not smile on a clothes thief in Plumtree after he was sold out by his foot prints.
Admire Tesva was arrested after he stole clothes,packed them in a satchel and hid them in a field.
He had broke into the complainant’s house through a window.
Tesva was dragged to Plumtree magistrates courts on Saturday where he appeared before magistrate Joshua Nembaware facing unlawful entry charges.
Nembaware remanded Tesva in custody to April 11.
The state alleged that on April 2 Tesva broke into Mtokozisi Mpofu’s bedroom through the window and stole clothes.
After stealing clothes he packed them in a bag and hid them in a field it was learnt during court proceedings.
The police recovered the bag and tracked the foot steps which led them to the accused’s house.
