A suspected cellphone thief who allegedly broke into a neighbour’s house and stole a mobile phone has been arrested.
Malvern Chikomo appeared before Plumtree magistrate Joshua Nembaware for unlawful entry.
He was granted $50 bail.
The state led by Sheila Nyathi alleged that on December 21 last year at around 1am, Chikomo broke into Netiwe Chinguva’s house and stole her cellphone.
The stolen Samsung phone valued at $100 was recovered after the police intervened.
