Police in Bindura are appealing for information which can lead to the arrest of a suspected muderer who allegedly killed Nathan Mafaro at his home in the mining town.

The 48-year-old Mafaro’s corpse was discovered by a neighbour at the back of his kitchen at Retreat farm, Bindura.

Acting Mashonaland Central police spokesperson Sergeant Major Samuel Chikasha confirmed the case.

Allegations are that on July 24 Mufaro’s neighbour saw the deceased’s body at the back of his kitchen with blood stains on his face and alerted other residents before filing a police report.

The police took the body to Bindura Provincial hospital for a postmortem and an arrest is yet to be made.
