Residents of Chipindura location in Bindura were left shell-shocked when Alfred Chinjiva was found with two human skulls and human bones in his room.
Chinjiva of house number 1046 Chipindura was dragged to court on Wednesday where he appeared before magistrate Charity Mawunga.
He requested the services of a lawyer, and his case has been remanded to February 6 while he will be in custody.
The state alleged on February 2,Chinjiva was found with two human skulls his rented room.
He alleged one was of his grandfather, who was buried in Masvingo, and the other he took it at a cemetery in Bindura.
Human bones were also found in buckets and some rice.
