Eight Guruve pool teams progressed to the next round in the Indaba Boss pool cup tournament yesterday.
The cup was launched yesterday in respect of Freelance journalist Simbarashe (Indaba Boss) Sithole by the Guruve pool executive.
The semi and finals are to be played on Indaba Boss’s birthday party scheduled for September 29.
The teams that progressed are Homeground, EManyama, Mitches, Village Legends, Club 75, Highway, East49 and Redlion.
The next round is to be played on Sunday under the theme “No to drug and substance abuse.”
Te final is set to be played on the 29th of this month at Guruve hotel where a gig has also been scheduled in honour of the journalist who has strived to make the community popular through reporting on issues within the community.
