Dear Sir
After a rough week, i pray this epistle finds you in optimal spirits and vigour. I feel compelled to share my sentiments on certain matters that have recently come to light.
Regarding the audio recordings, I opine that they constitute a harmless conversation and were not intended to be injurious. The blame should be attributed to the perfidious individual or individuals that leaked the conversation, likely a Judas who harbours envy towards your success and seeks to tarnish your reputation.
For example The phrase “Ndakachibata kuti Dzvii” is a common slang expression and slogan, devoid of any pejorative connotation but has been misconstrued to mean otherwise.
In the same vein, i urge you not to deny the audios, as they are a matter of public record, and instead continue to focus on your laudable work as an accomplished and sophisticated dealer
Now on more pressing issues, regarding the Toyota Aquas you benevolently bestowed upon certain individuals, I wish to underscore that the recipients have little to no involvement in the mobilization efforts of Zanu PF, nor do they utilize the said vehicles for such purposes.
The foot soldiers who toil tirelessly for the party, often employing door-to-door methods now feel that those who received the Aquas were perceived as “hard workers” and chosen after a meticulous selection process by the Party, yet save on social media on the ground they are pretty unknown and it was your personal initiative.
Some of those that also do the donkey work do so with their own vehicles and fuel not expecting anything in return. They have been doing so for many years out of passion but they now feel a certain level of disgruntment and the word on the street is ‘let those that have been awarded Aquas carry out the cell restructuring exercise’.
I hope you grasp the concept Sir, that a paltry percentage of Zanu PF supporters probably a mere 1% are active on social media platforms such as Facebook or X, the rest either do not have smart phones or phones at all but you basically awarded those that massaged your ego.
While your intention was doubtless benevolent, it may have inadvertently caused umbrage and subtle resistance among the foot soldiers. All beneficiaries of the Aquas combined lack the capacity to mobilize even a modest number of Zanu PF cadres even fewer than 50, whereas those who are not on social media can mobilize thousands for national events and voting purposes. I humbly suggest that in the future, such gestures be undertaken privately or without invoking the party’s name to avoid causing unintended offense.
P.S
Please don’t refer to yourself as a businessman a ‘dealer’ is more appropriate
Sincerely Yours
Denzel Elijah Romol
