Sungura kingpin Alick Macheso together with his colleague Somandla “Mafia” Ndebele are set to share the stage at Guruve hotel tomorrow (Friday).
The Ochestra Mberikwazvo front man Macheso visits Guruve once during tobacco selling season and this time he has beefed up his presence with Mafia.
Macheso’s publicist Tich Makahamadze confirmed the show saying everything is in place for the show.
“We are ready for Guruve and everything is in place so Sungura fans should expect nothing short of an electric performance from both Ochestra Mberikwazvo and Mafia,” Makahamadze said.
Guruve hotel owner Monica “Mai Mabena” Chikanda said it is an honour to host two Sungura giants.
“We are honoured to host two Sungura giants Macheso and Ndebele, so fans should come prepared for an electrifying night,” she added.
Meanwhile, Macheso will celebrate his birthday at Jongwe Corner on Sunday where he will be supported by Peter Moyo.
