Orchestra Mberikwazvo boss, Alick Macheso, is taking his band to Mvurwi for his annual visit on Friday.
Macheso usually visits Mvurwi during the tobacco selling season at the giant Shamwari Joe Hotel.
The band publicist Tich Makahamadze said the band is ready to meet its fans in Mvurwi and surrounding areas.
“It is that time of the year when we visit Mvurwi to meet our fans as per our own norm every year,” Makahamadze said.
Shamwari Joe proprietor Barbra Mukombwe said it is always a pleasure to host Macheso as he packs the venue.
“We are ready to host Macheso we know the place will be packed and we are honoured to have him at Shamwari Joe, ” she said.
“Everything is now in place, of cold beer, braai packs and a good parking space.”
Meanwhile, Macheso visits Mvurwi and Guruve once every year during the tobacco selling season.
