A Plumtree man, Godwishes Masango, is in deep trouble after he allegedly assaulted a cop who was trying to arrest him during a midnight fight.
Masango was dragged to Plumtree magistrates courts where he was remanded in custody by Plumtree magistrate Joshua Nembaware.
Prosecutor Sheila Nyathi alleged that on December 26 last year at Madambe Business Centre ,Masango was having an altercation with someone.
When the police arrived he charged at Constable Mahlangu Nqoba and assaulted him while resisting arrest.
Police teamed up and managed to handcuff him before taking him to the police station.
