A Sanyati-based widow, Abigel Piason, claims she is now at peace after experiencing unexplained disturbances which she believes were being caused by evil spirits.
The widow had Sekuru Nyangatayani to thank who came to her rescue.
Piason, a mother of five, said the disturbances began while she was living in Chakari, forcing her to flee to Sanyati in search of safety.
Despite relocating, she alleges that the incidents continued.
“I was in deep trouble. While I was staying in Chakari, I was being tormented by what I believe are evil spirits. Stones would mysteriously hit the house and groceries would be emptied without anyone touching them,” she said.
Due to the severity of the alleged disturbances, Piason the coming in of Glendale-based traditional healer Sekuru Nyangatayani, gave her peace after he conducted cleansing rituals.
“The torment became unbearable, so I engaged Sekuru Nyangatayani for help. He came and performed rituals at my house, and since then, things have returned to normal,” Piason added.
Her sons, Francis and Alison, also said they witnessed the bizarre occurrences and described the experience as traumatic.
“I used to think these were just myths, but when our mother came here, we witnessed some of the strangest things in our lives. Since Sekuru Nyangatayani intervened, the situation has improved,” said Francis.
“We were in serious trouble, but after his intervention, there is now peace in the household,” he said.
Sekuru Nyangatayani confirmed that he was assisted the family, adding that the process took time
“We have since put an end to these strange things which were happening for some time. During our rituals, we discovered what appeared to be a goblin hidden in a wardrobe, which we destroyed. However, the process of cleansing is still underway,” Sekuru Nyangatayani said.
