Villagers in Chirikadzi Bindura rural ward nine were in cloud nine after United Kingdom businessman Tafadzwa Mandizha and his wife Samantha threw a party for them through his Mandizha Plaza complex.

The party, which was graced by artistes like Sulumani Chimbetu, Jag Signal, and DJ Phatchild, drew scores of people.

Mandizha, who is doing a lot of philanthropic works in his rural home, said he was happy to see many people excited after seeing musicians for the first time.

“As Mandizha Plaza we are so happy to be celebrating Christmas with so many people who are so happy to see musicians like Sulu, Jah Signal and DJ Phatchild whom they usually hear on radio,”Mandizha said.

On stage, Chimbetu did not disappoint as he mesmerised fans with both his songs and those of his late father.

Givemore Masembura said he was elated to see Chimbetu live for free in his rural area curtsey of Mandizha Plaza.

“It is my first time to see my favourite musician Sulumani Chimbetu and what Mandizha Plaza has done for us is memorable, this Christmas should not be forgotten thanx to Mandizha Plaza,” he said.

Another Zimdancehall fan Sarah Gombekombe said she will never forget this Xmas.

“It is as though l am dreaming when Signal went on stage l was filled with joy having such a party freely is something that should not be taken for granted so Mandizha Plaza is the deal,” she said ecstatically.

Meanwhile, the Plaza was officially opened in August after Mandizha turned the once community beer Hall into a one stop elite shop with a butchery ,shop, bar and an upstairs VIP lounge.
