Harare’s iconic Rainbow Towers Hotel and Conference Centre has undergone a stunning transformation, solidifying its position as Zimbabwe’s premier business and conferencing destination. The US$5.2 million refurbishment, which is part of a $26 million capital investment programme, has breathed new life into this five-star landmark.

The revitalised facilities boast six premium suites, each featuring two en-suite bedrooms, a plush lounge, and a sleek kitchenette, perfect for high-profile delegations and executive guests.

An additional 48 guest rooms have been reimagined in a minimalist aesthetic, blending soft neutral tones and Zimbabwean artistry.

Speaking during a media tour of the refurbished facility, RTG Chief Executive, Tendai Madziwanyika said “the adjacent Harare International Convention Centre (HICC), Africa’s largest colosseum-style venue, has also received a comprehensive modernisation, featuring ergonomic seating, integrated charging ports, and state-of-the-art acoustic systems”.

“We are optimistic about the future performance of this hotel, positioning Zimbabwe as a premier destination for regional and international meetings and conferences,” Madziwanyika added.

As the festive season approaches, Rainbow Tourism Group invites travellers to celebrate under the banner of “Fun Under the Rainbow,” offering special promotions and packages across its hotels.

With its unique blend of sophistication, space, and security, Rainbow Towers Hotel and Conference Centre is set to elevate Zimbabwe’s standing in regional hospitality.
